Bongao | Miss Yuko Tomita, Project Manager for Labour Mobility and Human Development (LMHD) and Migrant Protection and Assistance (MPA) at the International Organization on Migration of the United Nations, paid a courtesy call to Governor Yshmael “Mang” I. Sali and First Lady Jumda A. Sali during their weeklong field visit to ZAMBASULTA partner institutions and organizations.
Board Member DayangCarlsumSangkula-Jumaide, provincial focal person for IOM partnership technical working group, facilitated the courtesy meeting between the IOM officer and Governor Sali.
Governor Sali thanked Miss Tomita and the IOM for all their programs and projects that benefit the constituents Tawi-Tawi.

LTO Chief AlvinzharAmilassan reports to Vice-Governor MichailAhaja and the provincial board members that their office is now under the administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communication through the consolidated Bangsamoro Land Transportation Office.
Chief Amilassan guarantees BM SabuddinAbdurahim, BM Mohammad Yusof Tidal, BM Abduljamil Ishmael PhD, BM RenilSamsuya, BM Hasanal Jeoffrey Sali, and BM DayangCarlsumSangkula-Jumaide that driver licenses and vehicle plates, including other services, issued by their office are standard issuances as their programs are integrated with the national LTO system.
In the first quarter of next year, Chief Amilassan shares, their office will conduct a series of free theoretical driving courses which is a new requirement for application and renewal of licenses, and hop to island municipalities to bring the one-stop-shop offerings of their regular services.
Present during the courtesy meeting were Languyan Municipal Administrator and congressional aspirant Hji. DimzarSali, MelhanMasdal who observed the meeting in behalf of his father BM Habib Ismael Masdal, and DXGD broadcaster Babylyn Kano.
OPAPP-BYC SEEK PLGU COOPERATION

Bongao | Program officers from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process, and Bangsamoro Youth Commission chaired by MP MarjanieMacasalong met with the officials of the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi, 2nd Marine Brigade, Tawi-Tawi Provincial Women Council, and Languyan Municipal Government on Wednesday to coordinate their activities for the regional and national action plan on women, youth, peace, and security.
Vice-Governor MichailAhaja facilitated the meeting emphasizing the areas for cooperation between PLGU and the OPAPP-BYC for impact-oriented programs and projects especially for the women and youth in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao by ensuring inclusivity and impartiality.
First Lady Jumda A. Sali, Chairperson of the Tawi-Tawi Provincial Women Council, and Municipal Administrator Hji. DimzarSali provided circumstantial guidance and resolution to OPAPP for the conduct of women and youth consultation in the Municipality of Languyan.
OPAPP in partnership with BYC will be holding workshops and consultations involving youth, women, and Indigenous Peoples from various municipalities through the Social Healing Peacebuilding Program (SHAPE) employing conflict-sensitive and peace-promoting interventions in affirmation of the commitment of the Philippine government to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250.
Provincial Administrator MobinGampal addressed, on behalf of the PLGU, the staff and medical practitioners of the IPHO and Rural Health Units of the 11 municipalities. Kailangannatingmagkaisa, kailangangbuoin ang Tawi-Tawi bilangpamilya. Ang IPHO Tawi-Tawi po ang naginghaligi kung saanlumabantayonglahat, hindi ho natinmapagkailanamaraming trials ang dumatingpero di tayonatinagsapagkatsahulipamilyaparintayo, may mganangyaring adversaries perohinditayobumigaydahilalamnatinwalanamangnatatalosamgataonglumalaban. Sabay-sabaytayonglumabansapandemya, at ngayonpangalawangtaonnatayongnakikibaka at nandiyankayonglahat. Sa ngalan ho ng ating Provincial Governor nasi Gob Mang, dalaniya ho ang kanyangbutihingasawanasi First Lady Jumda A. Sali, maramingsalamat ho sapagpapanatili ng inyongsuporta at pagmamahalnaibinibigaysa provincial government. Kung ano ang magagadangadhikain ng IPHO, laginiyangsinasabinahindi po siyakakalas. IPHO CELEBRATES 47TH ANNIVERSARY

Bongao | Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi joins the Integrated Provincial Health Office in commemorating their 47th founding anniversary, which commenced on Monday, November 15.
Al-Syed A. Sali, Al-hajj, together with BM Hasanal Jeoffrey Sali who represented Governor Sali during the opening program, recognized the hospital personnel as living heroes especially being at the forefront in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. He said, “In bunnalgagandilan sin hulahamunakamumga front liners, dihnamagpikil sin kabuhih, dihnamagpikilunu-unu bang man makatabang ha mgakatawtaymanghurannatu dii ha Tawi-Tawi. You deserve all the respect, maramingsalamatsapagmamahalsaatingkapwa, at sakripisyosaating bayan.”
Dr. SangkulaLaja, IPHO Head, thanked the PLGU, Governor Sali, TPWC Chairperson First Lady Jumda who is represented by Hja. Zelda Abduraja, Al-syed A. Sali, BM Jeoffrey, IATF Tawi-Tawi, and the different agencies for supporting the IPHO and their various service programs. He proudly informed that Tawi-Tawi still leads among the BARMM provinces for having the lowest COVID-19 cases, and highest concerning fully vaccinated individuals with 21 percent of the target population above the 14 percent regional performance.
In line with the IPHO celebration, the World Surgical Foundation of the Philippines will facilitate a surgical mission on November 22-27, a joint project with the Provincial Government headed by Governor Yshmael “Mang” I. Sali, Congressman RashidinMatba, and former BTA Member of the Parliament Al-syed A. Sali, Alhajj who assisted the IPHO in coordinating for the free medical services enjoining the Tawi-Tawi constituents especially the indigents.
The two-week-long celebration with the theme “We Fight & Heal as One IPHO Tawi-Tawi Family” comes with different activities including a sports fest for medical front liners, blood-letting, and the inauguration and opening of the new provincial hospital operating building and the patient ward building.
